FORMATION: 1st CORPS BAOR
UNIT: 10 ON RA COLOURS INDICATED CORPS LOCATING REGIMENT RA 1951-59. IN
THIS CASE IT IS 94th LOCATING REGIMENT RA BASED AT TAUNTON BKS IN CELLE. THE
REGT LEFT BAOR IN 1964.
Both this vehicle and the one behind have the same window markings which
appear to be PO /2387 but it could be BO or DO LOOKS LIKE PO AND I THINK THIS IS FOR SHIPMENT/POSTING ORDER TO UNIT. THE
VEHICLES ARE NEW AND WE ARE LOOKING AT A WINTER 55/56 DATE.There are red and white snow marker poles leaning inside the passenger side
of the vehicle.MARKER POLES FOR LOCATING EXCERCISE. The vehicles appear very new with unworn tyres a small number 4 can be seen
on the front of the bonnet. THE ONLY BATTERY WITH THIS REGT WAS 112 LOC BTY. THE REAR VEHICLE HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE "WATER" ON WINDSCREEN. [REF-COOLING
SYSTEM]. There is no mesh in the front grill but the lower half of the radiator
appears to be protected by some folded cardboard. No spade is present. WHY NO MESH???
Note: 00BF44 was with the same unit.
