History: Richard Ashmore supplied this photo in March 2012.
John M: Unit and date are: No later than 1961 and the 41 on RAC colours indicates the Recon Regt in an infantry division.  In this case, 3/4th County Of London Yeomanry [Sharpeshooters] [TA] 44th [Home Counties] Infantry Division [TA]. The 3/4th COLY was formed in Aug 1944 after heavy losses which resulted in the amalgamation of 3rd COLY and 4th COLY.  In 1961, the 3/4th COLY amalagamated with 297th Kent Yeomanry LAA Regt [TA] to form the Kent and County Of London Yeomanry [Sharpeshooters] [TA] RAC.  The other vehicle is a Car Scout "Dingo" ex WWII.
